LOCATION

The Mamprugu Moagduri District is one of the 261 Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) in Ghana, and forms part of the 6 MMDAs in the North East Region.
The District was carved from West Mamprusi and was created in the year 2012 and was inaugurated at their various locations simultaneously on the 28th June, 2012.  Mamprugu Moagduri District with its capital as Yagaba has a total land size of 2,150sq kilometers.
